The game won't start for me. The menu loads, options load and seem to work. But clicking start does a 'ding ding' sound, the screen goes black then Godot engine is just completely unresponsive. I'm running Windows 10 x64 on a Dell Latitude E5570 with an i5 Processor, 16 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 520.

I read Godot had issues with USB devices, so I disconnected everything plugged in - no change.

Ran it from the command line with --verbose
The last line before the freeze says: "Loading resource: res://.godot/exported/133200997/export-7cf971ce9fcff34d72cb84e7b193f7b1-sm_prop_wood_plank_02.scn"

I'm sorry to hear that! I assume that some 3D feature is not compatible with your iGPU. The game does not detect the hardware nor automatically limit itself accordingly. Have you tried starting it on the lowest settings?

If this won't work, I will build a compatibity version with more in-depth options, that also affect the shaders more. This way you might get it to run on your device!

Thanks for letting me know!

What a great aesthetic and atmosphere. The art style is super clean and the foliage is so well done. Immediately the start menu was engaging and part of the story, also the settings are great. The way every tool was used together in Godot is a masterclass based on my experience of trying almost all of these tools myself. Love the ambience.

Your comment made my day, thank you so much!!

Lovely exploration game! I got 140 doubloons by the end.

I especially loved the lowpoly celshaded look of the graphics :)

A minor bug I encountered - pressing "Help I'm stuck!" in the cellar sends you to the shadow realm. "Help I'm still stuck!" fixes it easily though. Haven't tested if the same happens inside the house.
