From Prototype to Alpha


Hey there! 

I just dropped a major update, overhauling and refining nearly every aspect of the prototype. A lot of content has beed added, including new enemies, biomes, skills and items. Balancing and QoL-Features are heavy WIP, but it should feel like a proper minigame now. Quite a lot of systems and contents are still in the making though! 

Feedback regarding your general experience with this build is greatly appreciated!

Known issues:

  • (fixed) One item in shop always appears twice
  • (fixed) Unequipping a weapon doesn't unequip the associated skill
  • (fixed) Mid-fight spawned enemies have a double reference to themselves, making for unwanted group-related skilleffects (priestess group heal) 
  • (fixed) Items aren't unequipped at end of run, thus comparison tooltip is shown when hovering heirlooms in main menu

Content/ Balancing concerns:

  • Defend isn't fun
  • Combat in second biome starts too easy and unrewarding
  • Blood spec is op with sanguine set
  • Frost TTK is too fast
  • Priestess is a weird DPS check 
  • Set of the blade is too weak for being epic 
  • More weapons, rings and necklaces will make for a more balanced loot pool
  • (implemented) Option to take gold or essence instead of an item
